Job Description

Role Summary:

Responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of plant utility systems such as transformers, DG sets, compressors, HVAC/AC units, electrical panels, and other facility equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical & Utility Maintenance

Daily monitoring and maintenance of transformer, HT/LT panels, DG sets, compressors & UPS systems

Execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities

Monitoring load distribution, voltage, earthing systems, and electrical safety

Ensuring zero downtime for all critical utility equipment

2. HVAC / Air-Conditioning

Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of AC units, split AC, ductable AC

Monitoring temperature control systems and ensuring smooth functioning

3. Mechanical & Facility Equipment

Maintenance of pumps, motors, cooling towers, pipelines, water systems, etc.

Assist in upkeep of ETP/STP, fire hydrant systems, and other facility utilities

4. Documentation & Compliance

Maintaining logbooks for utilities - transformer readings, compressor hours, DG hours

Ensure adherence to PM schedules, checklists & safety procedures

Coordinating with service providers and vendors for external maintenance work

5. Support to Production & Projects

Provide technical support during machine installation, shifts & emergencies

Assist in plant expansion, electrical routing, and utility layout activities.

Technical Skills Required

Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformer operation

Understanding of compressors, AC units, DG sets & utility equipment

Ability to read electrical drawings & troubleshoot basic issues

Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules

Basic computer knowledge for report preparation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
