As a Software Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing 's software license lifecycle, supporting procurement activities, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency. This position is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in software asset management, procurement, or IT operations, who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to end user questions on software licenses, purchases, and delivery in collaboration with publishers and other stakeholders. Source software, prepare purchase requisitions, and oversee software distribution for internal and external users. Assign and manage software licenses using relevant portals and tools. Support IT automation efforts and resolve related BOT issues. Extract, tabulate, and maintain price, product, and contact data from software contracts. Generate and analyze data reports to identify catalog gaps and discrepancies. Analyze multiple dashboard data and report monthly core counts. Coordinate software license renewals, true-ups, and manage license key systems. Troubleshoot licensing issues and escalate complex queries to appropriate support groups. Support periodic audits, license harvesting, and internal forecasting or renewal analysis projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software asset management, procurement, or IT operations. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively across legal, finance, technical, and operational teams. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of service provider licensing agreements Familiarity with software procurement processes and contract management.
