Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research and Develop User Interfaces, Solutions and Architectural Blueprints in support of Hitachi’s cross-industry business needs like Energy, Industry, Mobility, Smart Life, and Information Technology.
• Design, Implement and Demonstrate proof-of-Concept and working proto-types for Hitachi and its clients.
• Provide R&D support to Hitachi business units and group companies to productize research prototypes.
• Explore emerging tools, techniques, and technologies, and work with academia for cutting-edge solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and eco-system partners for mutual business benefit.
• Add value to self through continuous learning and knowledge acquisition; give back learnings to colleagues and communities; mentor colleagues for growth and success. Generate eminence via patents, publications, thought leadership, invited speakerships and conspicuous presence in forums of repute

Mandatory Job Requirements: 1. Solution Development: Deep Experience in User Interface Design and Development of Enterprise-class information technology systems and related methodology (e.g., Design Thinking, Use Cases, Agile development). 2. Probabilistic Systems and Human-Computer Interaction: Clear concept of interactive systems that embed Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence systems. 3. Technology Hands-on: Proven track record in below areas - 4A mandatorily and any one of 4B, 4B and 4D, 4E- is having an added advantage to the profile. a) Front-end, client-end experience: Solid User Interface Development skills using Core JavaScript, clear understanding of front-end UI components and patterns like AJAX, Document Object Model and common browser behavior; excellent understanding and ability to write HTML, CSS. Experienced with D3.js, interactive JS, High Charts, Omni channel visualization development, Fusion Charts, Various Map integrations and good experience in different data driven connections. Knowledge in various JavaScript frameworks in general. b) ReactJS: 5+ years of experience working as a ReactJS developer; knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux; experience in developing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts. c) AngularJS: 5+ years of experience working as an AngularJS developer; experience using JavaScript building tools like Gulp or Grunt; knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngularJS; exposure to Jasmine / Karma. d) Python: 5+ years of experience, preferably with infrastructure, platform, or distributed systems, Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures, Proficient in Python 3. x, In-depth knowledge of Mongo DB, Experience with Git, REST, SQA, XML, and Web Services, Experience in SQL, Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure. e) AR/VR: Three JS, Unity 4, Unreal Engine or any AR/VR tool/platform. 4. User Interface Component Testing: Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jtest. Experience with Browser-based debugging and Performance testing software. 5. Communication: Ability to articulate key messages concisely and precisely 6. Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills Additional Preference 1. Advanced Qualification: Certification in User Experience Methodology like Material Design, Design methodology for AR/VR 2. Eminence: Patents, publications, thought leadership, invited speakership and conspicuous presence in refereed platforms or forums of repute. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any Discipline.
