Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to assess their overall condition, including exterior appearance, interior features, mechanical components, and performance. Evaluate the history of each vehicle, including previous ownership, service records, accident history, and any aftermarket modifications. Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify potential mechanical issues or defects in the vehicles. Perform test drives to assess the vehicle's handling, acceleration, braking, and overall performance. Research market trends, pricing data, and comparable vehicle listings to determine the fair market value of each vehicle. Prepare detailed inspection reports and valuation assessments for each vehicle, documenting any findings and recommendations. Communicate with sales staff, customers, and vendors to provide accurate information about vehicle condition and valuation. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, finance, and service, to ensure seamless integration of used vehicles into inventory and sales processes. Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes related to used car sales and valuation. Uphold company standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service in all interactions and transactions.
