US Operations & Customer Support Coordinator

Clarion Oilfield Products Inc. is a Houston-based company specializing in API 6A certified ring gaskets, B7
studs, and oilfield sealing products for the oil and gas industry. We are a U.S. division of Bettercastings India,
with vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and local inventory in Houston.
Role Overview
We are looking for a self-driven, organized individual to coordinate our US operations remotely during US
business hours. This role serves as the primary point of contact for US customers, manages order
documentation, coordinates with our Houston warehouse and logistics team, and liaises with India
manufacturing to ensure timely order fulfillment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career professional to grow into a US Operations
Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Communication
Respond to customer inquiries and emails promptly during US business hours
Prepare and send quotations based on customer requirements
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers
Order Management & Documentation
Create and manage quotes, sales orders, and invoices in Zoho
Provide Mill Test Reports (MTRs) and required documentation to customers
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with Houston warehouse team for order pickups and deliveries
Communicate shipping schedules and track order status
Ensure smooth handoff between sales and fulfillment
Inventory & Cost Management
Enter incoming stock arrivals into the system
Notify warehouse of expected landing dates
Calculate landed costs for all incoming products
Manufacturing Coordination
Attend daily production meeting at 5:00 PM IST (in-office 2-3 times per week; virtual on other days)
Follow up on customer orders with India manufacturing team
Track and update production order status
Prioritize orders based on customer delivery requirements
Work Schedule
This role operates on US Central Time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT), which translates to night shift hours in India.
The schedule adjusts with US Daylight Saving Time as follows:
Period US Time India Time (IST) Effective Dates
Daylight Saving (CDT) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM Mid-March to Early November
Standard Time (CST) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 7:30 PM - 3:30 AM Early November to Mid-March
Daily workload may vary and mostly falls below 8 hours, but must be available to work on dispatches and
quotations as per customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SharePoint
Ability to learn and effectively use AI tools to improve productivity
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to create and maintain systems for efficient workflow
Comfortable working night shift hours aligned with US business time
Preferred Qualifications
Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of relevant experience
Exposure to customer service, operations, or coordination roles
Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (training on Zoho will be provided)
