Job Description

Outbound Cold Calling:

Initiate high volumes of daily calls to potential clients from provided databases to introduce detailing services.

Script Adaptation:

Memorize and skilfully customize call scripts to address specific client pain points, such as project delays or detailing errors.

Lead Identification & Qualification:

Ask targeted questions to understand a prospect's current project pipeline and determine if they require external detailing support.

Appointment Setting:

Schedule follow-up meetings or technical demonstrations for senior sales executives or project managers.

Database Management:

Accurately update CRM records with call outcomes, customer feedback, and scheduled follow-up dates.

Technical Messaging:

Clearly communicate the benefits of using advanced detailing software like Tekla Structures or SDS2 to improve fabrication accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Persuasive Communication:

Exceptional verbal clarity and the ability to build rapport in the first 20 seconds of a call.

Resilience & Objection Handling:

Strong ability to handle frequent rejections and pivot "not interested" responses into informative conversations.

Active Listening:

Ability to identify subtle cues in a prospect's tone to uncover hidden business opportunities.

Industry Literacy:

Basic understanding of the construction lifecycle, SDS/2 workflows, and structural steel standards (AISC/CISC).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is often preferred for more technical B2B environments.

Performance Metrics (KPIs) for 2025



Daily Call Volume:

Targeting 30-80+ outbound calls per day.

Lead Conversion Rate:

Percentage of calls that result in a qualified lead or appointment.

Average Speed of Answer (ASA):

For inbound inquiries, aiming for under 28 seconds.

First Call Resolution (FCR):

Resolving basic client queries on the first call.

CRM Compliance:

Ensuring 100% accuracy in logging interactions and follow-ups.
