We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Team Lead or Team Lead who combines expertise in individual and business tax reviews with exceptional team management skills. This role involves overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns while managing a team of tax professionals. Your leadership will ensure the highest quality of tax services and foster a collaborative team environment.

Oversee the preparation and review of individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Forms
1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041).
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their development and performance. Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with tax
laws.
Serve as the primary contact for escalated client issues and complex tax matters, including international tax filings (Forms 1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865). Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to benefit clients. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure the team is informed and compliant. Collaborate with the Team Lead/Managers to set departmental goals and objectives. Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of tax staff. Minimum of 5-6 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Extensive experience with individual and business tax forms, including international tax
components.
Proven leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Strong knowledge of software like; Pro-series, CCH, lacerte, turbotax, ultratax.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Well conversant in verbal and written English communication
