About the Role

Astha Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced

US Taxation Associate

to handle individual and corporate tax returns for US-based clients. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of US tax regulations, hands-on experience with tax preparation software, and professional certification.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review

US individual (1040)

and

corporate (1120)

tax returns accurately and within deadlines. Ensure compliance with IRS and state tax laws, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements. Review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy in tax filings. Communicate directly with US clients for clarification and document collection. Conduct tax research to resolve client queries and ensure correct tax treatment. Stay updated with changes in US federal and state tax codes and IRS regulations. Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy across all tax documentation and reports.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience

in US taxation (individual and corporate). Proficiency in tax software such as

Drake, CCH, and ProConnect

(mandatory). Strong understanding of

US tax forms

(1040, 1120) and IRS compliance standards. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts efficiently.

Educational Qualification

CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

or

EA (Enrolled Agent)

certification is

mandatory

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
