We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Onboarding & Benefits Coordinator to join our HR team. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new hires, including managing I-9 documentation, coordinating onboarding activities, administering employee benefits enrollment, and providing guidance on timekeeping. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and passionate about creating a welcoming experience for new employees.
Key Responsibilities:
I-9 Compliance & Documentation - Collect, verify, and maintain I-9 forms in accordance with federal regulations - Ensure timely completion of E-Verify for applicable hires - Audit and update I-9 records as needed.
New Hire Onboarding
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.
Benefits Administration
Guide employees through benefits enrollment and changes during onboarding and open enrollment . Respond to employee inquiries regarding health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit programs - Liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate records.
Timekeeping Instructions & Support
Provide clear instructions to new hires on timekeeping procedures and policies. Ensure employees are set up correctly in the timekeeping system - Troubleshoot time entry issues and escalate as needed to payroll or HRIS teams.
HR Systems & Reporting
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, Generate onboarding and benefits-related reports as needed - Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations - Utilize ADP Workforce Now for employee data management, onboarding workflows, benefits administration, and timekeeping setup.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in HR, onboarding, or benefits administration - Familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify requirements - Strong communication and organizational skills - Experience with ADP Workforce Now will be added value.
