Job Summary
You will drive end-to-end recruitment for U.S.-based IT roles--sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and closing highly skilled talent across a variety of technical domains. You'll act as a liaison between Indian delivery or recruiting teams and U.S. hiring managers, maintaining deep knowledge of U.S. IT market trends, work authorizations (H₹1B, OPT, TN, EAD, Green Card), and compensation models (W₹2, C2C, 1099)--while ensuring compliance and exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle U.S. IT Recruitment:
Source and screen candidates for U.S. IT positions (e.g., software engineers, QA, DevOps, technical leads)--using LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, corporate benches, social media, referrals, and coding-community pipelines.
Job Posting & Employer Branding:
Draft U.S.-style JD's and post on U.S. job boards, company career pages, and tech community channels. Represent the employer in virtual career fairs and tech meetups emphasizing U.S. culture and values.
Screening & Assessment:
Evaluate technical resumes, conduct phone or video screenings, and assess technical fit via coding/tests or panel interviews. Determine work eligibility across U.S. visa categories.
Interview Coordination & Feedback:
Schedule interviews, send confirmations (EST/PST), debrief U.S. hiring panels, and deliver structured feedback to candidates promptly.
Offer Management & Negotiation:
Discuss U.S. salary bands, benefits, and contract types (W₹2 vs C2C/1099). Draft offer letters and manage sign-off compliantly.
Compliance & ATS Management:
Capture all candidate activity and hiring records in ATS (e.g. Greenhouse, iCIMS, Workday). Maintain audit-ready data and ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, equal pay, and visa tracking.
Market Research & Advisory:
Analyze U.S. IT salary trends, emerging skills, and supply-demand patterns. Provide strategic advice to hiring teams on sourcing tactics, pipeline gaps, and compensation.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 1-2 years of technical recruitment experience; prior U.S. hiring experience preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English with strong email etiquette for U.S. stakeholders.
Experience with U.S. sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, Boolean search).
Solid understanding of U.S. work authorizations (H₹1B, OPT, TN, EAD, Green Card) and compliance procedures.
Familiarity with U.S. staffing models, including W₹2 contracts, Corp₹to₹Corp (C2C), and 1099 independent contractor arrangements.
Comfortable working IST-EST hours (e.g. 6:00₹PM-2:00₹AM IST).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage 15-25 open roles concurrently.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Technical background or HR certifications, especially in IT domains (e.g., Java, Azure/AWS, AI/ML).
Exposure to niche/senior IT hiring or emerging tech roles: cybersecurity, AI/ML, cloud architecture.
Prior experience in strategic U.S. campus hiring, global projects, or managing volume-hiring campaigns.
Comfortable engaging with U.S. hiring teams and adapting to U.S. corporate culture.
Experience in employer branding on LinkedIn, StackOverflow, GitHub, etc.
