About the Role:

SMK Soft is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic

IT Recruiter Intern

who is eager to learn the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles in the U.S. market. This internship will give you hands-on experience with real-world recruiting tasks under the mentorship of experienced professionals who have worked with top U.S. clients and Tier-1 vendors like Infosys, Wipro, and HCL.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist recruiters in

sourcing candidates

using platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, Dice, and others. Learn to review and

screen resumes

for technical roles such as Software Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Analysts. Support coordination and

scheduling of interviews

between candidates and hiring managers. Update and maintain

candidate pipelines

and records in internal databases (ATS/CRM). Help research market trends, job descriptions, and

technology terms

to better understand open positions. Participate in

team meetings

and strategy sessions to improve recruiting effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a

Bachelor's degree

in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Interest in

technology and recruiting

; prior exposure or certification in recruiting is a plus. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced,

client-facing IT staffing

environment. Basic understanding of job portals and MS Office/Google Workspace.
