US payroll, HR compliance, and benefits administration
. The ideal candidate will have previously worked with a US company and is comfortable handling multi-state payroll, onboarding, and HR documentation independently.
Key Responsibilities
Process
US bi-weekly payroll
for W2 employees and 1099 contractors.
Manage
new hire documentation
(W-4, I-9, direct deposit forms, etc.).
Oversee
employee onboarding and offboarding
for US staff.
Maintain accurate
HR and payroll records
and ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
Administer
employee benefits
(health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, etc.).
Prepare and review
payroll reports, tax filings, and summaries
.
Assist with
performance reviews, policy updates, and HR communication
.
Support management with HR reports and compliance audits.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience
in HR and payroll for
US-based companies
(mandatory).
Knowledge of
US payroll laws, taxes, and compliance
across multiple states.
Experience using
Gusto Payroll
, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of
W-2 and 1099 classifications
.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working
US business hours (EST)
.
Proficient in
Google Workspace / Excel / HRIS tools
.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
healthcare, billing, or technology sectors
.
Knowledge of
benefits administration and employee compliance
.
