Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting:
Manage the full month-end and year-end close process for US entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial
statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform complex general ledger (G/L) account reconciliations, journal entries, and detailed financial analysis.
Oversee fixed asset management, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal tracking.
Ensure accurate intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during financial audits.
US Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare and review US federal, state, and local income tax returns and supporting schedules.
Manage and track compliance with sales and use taxes and other indirect tax requirements.
Stay current with changes in US tax laws and regulations (IRC) to ensure proactive compliance and tax
efficiency.
Assist in responding to tax authority notices, inquiries, and audits.
Financial Analysis (Add-on / Desirable):
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
Manage and analyze cash flow and working capital.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly
preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in US corporate accounting, public accounting, or related roles
with US entity exposure.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and its practical application.
Proven experience in preparing and filing US corporate tax returns (Form 1120, Form 1065).
Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
