Job Title: U.S. Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented U.S. Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, managing month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and supporting internal and external audits. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the general ledger and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback. Coordinate audits with external auditors and provide necessary documentation. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Reconcile account balances and bank statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks. Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
