Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization.
Analyze monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements and research any variances.
Perform bookkeeping of various clients by verifying, allocating and posting transactions from bank statements, Invoices etc. through Bill.com/QBO/Netsuite.
Reconciles bank accounts on a monthly basis, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including cash/bank reconciliations for multiple locations.
Verifies invoice coding associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements/efficiencies.
Backup to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable-Assisting with 1099 sales rep and subcontract vendor onboarding and offboarding process.
Assists with the annual financial audit.
Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Proficient in MS Excel, MSWord and PowerPoint and Working Knowledge of different accounting software including QBO, Bill.com, Netsuite, Sage, SAP, Navision, and Tally
Internationa accounting experience is a must prefferably U.S accounting.
