Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects related to cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and financial control of construction projects. Candidates currently residing in Bangalore will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and tender documentation. Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate and negotiate vendor/contractor quotations and finalize agreements. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess material usage, and validate contractor bills. Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure project delivery within budget. Assist in value engineering to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and project cost tracking systems. Review and certify contractor/vendor invoices and recommend payments.
Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in residential/commercial infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of rate analysis, tendering processes, and construction materials. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Must be currently based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately.
Preferred Attributes:

Familiarity with local market rates and construction norms in Karnataka. Experience in client billing and vendor management. Working knowledge of CPWD/DSR norms is an added advantage. Familiar with RERA compliance and documentation.
