Urgent opening for

Design Engineer

in Kherdi Silvassa location for KRYFS Power Components.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

.

4-8 years

of relevant experience in transformer tank design and manufacturing. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(essential) and

SolidWorks

(preferred). Strong knowledge of

sheet metal design, fabrication standards, and transformer mechanical components

. Ability to generate accurate and detailed engineering documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop transformer tanks, including Oil-Filled (ONAN), Distribution, Power, Hermetically Sealed, and Inverter Duty Transformers (up to 20 MVA, 33 kV). Prepare and review

General Arrangement (GA) drawings

, manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ensure adherence to

fabrication standards, sheet metal design principles, radiator and conservator sizing

. Conduct feasibility analysis for designs to ensure efficiency and production readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and procurement) to support smooth execution of projects. Utilize

AutoCAD

(mandatory) and preferably

SolidWorks

for design and drafting tasks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
