We are looking for an experienced Andhra-style South Indian Chef who can prepare authentic, traditional dishes with consistent taste and quality. The chef should be skilled in both veg and non-veg Andhra cuisine and capable of handling small and large-scale cooking for restaurants, cloud kitchens, and catering.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic Andhra dishes with home-style / hotel-style flavours
Expertise in:
Pappu, Charu, Sambar, Rasam
Fry items (Gutti Vankaya fry, Dondakaya fry, Bendakaya fry, Gobi fry)
Andhra curries (Kodi kura, Royyala kura, Chepala pulusu)
Pickles & chutneys (Gongura, Tomato, Onion chutney)
Rice varieties (Pappu Annam, Pulihora, Veg meals)
Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Manage prep work, portioning, and daily inventory
Ensure consistency in taste, spice levels, and presentation
Support catering production when required
Train junior staff when needed
Requirements
Proven experience as a South Indian / Andhra Chef
Strong knowledge of traditional Andhra flavours & techniques
Ability to cook large quantities without losing taste
Good communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to work in fast-paced setups
Preferred Skills
Experience in catering or bulk cooking
Ability to plan meals, menus, and specials
Knowledge of cost control and wastage reduction
