Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop packaging designs and prototypes: Create innovative packaging solutions for products, considering factors such as protection, usability, and environmental impact.

2. Conduct material research and testing: Evaluate different materials for packaging purposes, ensuring they meet quality standards and cost requirements.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging requirements are met.

4. Create packaging specifications: Document detailed packaging specifications for production, including dimensions, materials, and production processes.

5. Manage packaging production: Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure packaging designs are executed correctly and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Expectations:

1. Experience in packaging development: Ideally, 2-5 years of experience in developing packaging solutions for various products.

2. Knowledge of packaging materials: Understanding of different types of packaging materials and their suitability for different products.

3. Strong communication skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

4. Attention to detail: Must pay close attention to specifications and quality standards to ensure packaging meets requirements.

5. Problem-solving skills: Capable of resolving packaging challenges and making improvements to designs as needed.
