Role Function
Is responsible for the design, review, and coordination of plumbing and public
health systems for various building projects.

projects such as high-rise towers, infrastructure planning, mixed used facilities, Industrial logistics, luxury homes
etc.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing and public health systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitary,

and stormwater systems.

• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and schedules for plumbing installations.
• Perform hydraulic and pressure loss calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and authority requirements (Dubai Municipality,

DEWA, etc.).

• Coordinate with architects, structural, and MEP teams to integrate plumbing designs seamlessly into

overall project layouts.

• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and respond to RFIs from contractors.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical support during construction.
• Identify design conflicts and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare design reports, technical documentation, and ensure accurate project records.
• Support sustainability and water conservation initiatives through innovative design practices.

Requirements to Apply

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in plumbing and public health design within an architectural or MEP

consultancy.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Hydraulic calculation software.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and UAE building codes.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and plumbing standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
