Job Description

Industrial Engineering & Productivity

• Conduct time and motion studies for sewing, finishing, and packing operations.
• Prepare and validate SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes) for all garment styles.
• Line balancing to achieve optimum productivity and smooth workflow.
• Improve operator efficiency and reduce bottlenecks on production lines.
• Implement best methods, work aids, and process improvements.

Production Support

• Support production teams during line set-up and style changeovers.
• Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and absenteeism.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to meet shipment targets.

Ensure adherence to approved sewing methods and standard operations
Quality & Technical Support

• Ensure garments are produced as per approved samples, tech packs, and buyer specifications.
• Assist QA/QC teams in identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with garment technicians, merchandisers, and quality teams for smooth execution.
• Support inline, end-line, and final inspection activities.

Skills :-

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, finishing).
• Take ownership of garment processing & manage all technical aspects of garment production.
• Expertise in time study, motion study, SAM calculation, and line balancing.
• Good understanding of sewing machines, attachments, and work aids.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems.
