Responsibilities: 1. Identifying, developing & maintaining local / overseas vendor base for obtaining timely procurement of materials at favorable terms to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. 2. Preparing purchase schedules for timely procurement of raw materials 3. Identifying & developing quality vendor / supplier base for cost effective procurement of materials and spares parts 4. Review minimum 3 quotations before releasing a PO. 5. Sending soft copy of Purchase order to the vendor for material after MD\'s approval. 6. Streamlining the system and procedures 7. Establishing effective inventory control ensuring ready availability of materials to meet the production targets. 8. Devising efficient Logistics Management System to ensure delivery of finished goods as per committed timelines and cost. 9. Interfacing with the suppliers, comparing the rates, releasing P.O. in ERP, terms & conditions 10. Coordinate with accounts department for the payments to the vendors. 11. Ensuring proper documentation for shortages, faster clearance for the shortage items receipts 12. Conduct daily morning meeting with the team and update in daily morning meeting 13. Supervise the daily productivity of team members 14. Share daily consolidated reports to the management Requisite Skills: 1. Minimum 10+ Years\' Experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM). 2. Having good communication Skills & Interpersonal Skills and negotiation skills 3. Leadership skills. 4. Able to handle the pressure and ready to work on the set targets. 5. Commercial awareness 6. Numerical skills 7. Time management skills Desired Skills: 1. Leadership skills. 2. Team Player. 3.
