Job Title: Export Sales and Business development Manager
Experience : Minimum 5 years in international sales/export business
Location: Athwaline, Surat
Industry: Agro Products Export (Rice, Spices, Pulses, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage international sales strategies to expand business in target regions (Middle East, Africa, Europe, etc.)
Identify, connect with, and convert importers, distributors, and B2B buyers for agro products
Generate new leads through platforms like B2B portals (Alibaba, TradeIndia, Indiamart), exhibitions, trade fairs, and LinkedIn
Manage end-to-end export sales cycle inquiry, negotiation, contract finalization, documentation, dispatch, and payment follow-up
Coordinate with logistics, CHA, banks, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Maintain accurate records of export documentation (Proforma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, LC, etc.)
Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity in target countries
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with excellent after-sales service
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in international B2B sales and export documentation
Strong understanding of export compliance, Incoterms, and payment terms (LC, TT, CAD, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, CRM, email marketing, and B2B platforms
Bachelor's/Masters Degree in International Business / Marketing / Commerce / AgriBusiness
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on exposure in rice, pulses, spices, or other agro commodities
Prior dealings with buyers from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Africa, or Southeast Asia
Knowledge of APEDA, FSSAI, and DGFT norms
