Job Description

Crimson School Hyderabad is seeking an organized and student-focused Librarian to manage the school library and promote a strong reading and research culture among students. The role involves maintaining library resources, supporting students and teachers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day library operations in line with academic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, catalogue, and maintain books, journals, and digital resources Assist students and teachers in selecting age-appropriate reading and reference materials Maintain accurate records of book issue, returns, and inventory Promote reading habits through library periods, storytelling sessions, and reading programs Implement and enforce library rules and discipline Support academic activities, projects, and research requirements Coordinate with faculty for curriculum-aligned library resources Maintain a quiet, safe, and student-friendly library environment

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science Minimum 2 years of experience as a Librarian in a school or educational institution Experience in CBSE school setup preferred

Key Skills

Strong cataloguing and record management skills Knowledge of library management systems Passion for books and student learning Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to guide students in basic research and reference usage

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
