Job Description

Prepare, set up, and dismantle apparatus and materials required for Physics practical classes. Assist teachers during laboratory sessions and provide guidance to students in handling instruments safely. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment such as lenses, prisms, spectrometers, electrical circuits, and measuring devices. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and upkeep of lab instruments, models, and consumables. Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels of laboratory supplies. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that students use lab apparatus responsibly. Conduct routine inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs of lab instruments. Assist in organizing science exhibitions, projects, and demonstrations. Report equipment damage or safety hazards promptly to the school administration.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Physics, Physical Sciences, or related field.

3-5 years of experience

working as a Physics Lab Assistant/Technician in a school or academic setting. Strong understanding of Physics lab equipment, experiments, and safety standards. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and students.
