Position: Urban Planner

Location : Indore, India (On-site)

Experience: 3-5 years

About the Role:

9 Squares Architect's is seeking a qualified and motivated Urban Planner with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Indore. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision and technical knowledge to contribute to a variety of urban development and planning projects at multiple scales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop master plans and urban design frameworks for projects of varying scales, from local area plans to township planning.

2. Conduct site analyses, considering zoning regulations, land use policies, environmental impact, infrastructure needs, and social context.

3. Prepare detailed urban planning documentation and reports in line with statutory requirements and planning best practices.

4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and other consultants to ensure integrated planning outcomes.

5. Assist in the preparation and review of zoning plans, development control regulations, and TP (Town Planning) schemes.

6. Engage with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders for approvals, presentations, and collaborative planning processes.

7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning codes, guidelines, and urban development policies in India.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a Master's in Urban Planning (Mandatory).

2. Strong knowledge of urban policy, zoning regulations, and statutory planning processes.

3. Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and MS Office.

4. Excellent analytical, visualization, and communication skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
