Position: Urban Planner for Preparation of GIS based Master Planning

Department: Urban Planning

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Experience: Fresher-Intern

Annual Salary Offered: 5-7 thousand per months

Role Description:

1. Land Use and Development Planning

? Develop and revise land use plans, zoning ordinances, and urban growth strategies.

? Analyze urban data, land parcels, and demographic trends to inform planning decisions.

? Prepare planning reports, feasibility studies, site visit & analysis, and urban planning proposals.

? Monitor and assess the performance of implemented plans, recommending updates as needed.

2. Community and Stakeholder Engagement

? Organize and participate in public meetings, workshops, and hearings to gather community input.

3. Review and Compliance

? Review site plans, rezoning applications, development proposals, and compliance with zoning regulations, sustainability goals, and urban development standards.

4. Data Analysis and Visualization

? Use GIS tools to map data and perform spatial analysis related to land use, infrastructure, and population trends.

? Develop maps and planning diagrams to support reports and presentations.

5. Policy and Strategy Development

? Research planning policy innovations and apply best practices in sustainability, resilience, and smart cities.

6. Site Visit: Preparation & Coordination

? Schedule a pre-visit call or meeting with the client.

? Identify the client's primary concerns

Skills:

? Urban Planner with GIS knowledge and electrical systems, power distribution, and relevant electrical codes

Qualifications:

? GIS/ Geo Informatics /Diploma in GIS
