Key Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and bid on relevant projects on
Upwork and other freelancing platforms
Write
customized, high-quality proposals
aligned with client requirements
Communicate with potential clients to understand project needs and expectations
Coordinate with the technical team for
project scope, timelines, and cost estimation
Track bidding performance, conversions, and follow-ups
Generate leads and build long-term client relationships
Maintain an organized database of leads and bidding activity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of proven experience
in bidding on Upwork or similar platforms
Strong understanding of
software development lifecycle
, web & mobile app development, and SaaS
Excellent
written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to analyze client requirements and convert them into clear project scopes
Experience in drafting proposals, estimating budgets, and delivery timelines
Ability to manage
multiple bids simultaneously
Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
Familiarity with tools like
Google Workspace, Trello, Slack
, etc.
Nice to Have
Educational background in IT (BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or similar)
Experience with other platforms like
Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour
Knowledge of
CRM or sales automation tools
Prior experience working with
remote or distributed teams
