We are seeking a proactive and results-driven
Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, bidding, and closing projects on platforms like
Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other B2B portals
. You will act as the first point of contact for potential clients, presenting Designer Mindz's capabilities, and securing high-quality leads that align with our core services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms that match our service offerings.
Craft persuasive, customized proposals that align with client needs and clearly communicate Designer Mindz's value.
Handle pre-sales queries and follow-ups with clients in a professional manner.
Generate leads, conduct cold outreach, and build long-term relationships with potential clients.
Maintain CRM/database of leads, proposals, follow-ups, and closures.
Collaborate with internal teams (designers, developers, marketers) to understand project scope and deliver accurate estimates.
Achieve and exceed monthly bid targets and sales goals.
Stay updated on platform algorithms, trends, and client behavior to optimize conversion rates.
Required Skills
Proven experience bidding on Upwork, Freelancer, or similar platforms (1-3 years minimum).
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and creative design services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to write client-focused proposals that stand out.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and confident in client handling.
Familiarity with tools like Trello, HubSpot, Slack, or CRM systems is a plus.
