Key duties include curriculum implementation, varied teaching methods (games, stories), classroom management, and reporting on child development. Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development & Delivery
: Design and implement lesson plans covering foundational literacy (letters, phonics), numeracy (numbers, shapes), science, and social studies using creative activities like songs, stories, and art.
Classroom Management & Environment
: Create a positive, inclusive, and safe space, managing student behavior, resolving conflicts, and ensuring adherence to health & safety standards.
Student Assessment & Progress
: Monitor individual student growth, assess comprehension, and maintain detailed records, identifying areas where extra support is needed.
Parent & Staff Communication
: Regularly communicate with parents about student progress, concerns, and achievements; collaborate with other educators and staff.
Social-Emotional Development
: Nurture social skills like sharing, cooperation, good manners, and self-esteem through structured activities and guidance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Proven experience as a Kindergarten Teacher or Assistant.
Strong knowledge of child development principles.
Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and organizational skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse needs.
Familiarity with educational technology and standards.
