Position: Data Science Intern

Location: Jaipur

Internship Focus Areas:

Lending Algorithms: Develop advanced lending algorithms that go beyond traditional credit bureau data. Utilize cutting-edge data science techniques to assess creditworthiness and identify trends in the commercial vehicle and agri lending sectors.

Object Detection Using YOLO (You Only Look Once):

Implement YOLO to enhance object detection capabilities, focusing on the identification of cattle and vehicle registration plates.
Utilize YOLO's real-time object detection to streamline and automate processes related to livestock assessment and vehicle documentation.

Number Plate Recognition:
Design and implement algorithms for efficient number plate recognition in images and videos
Explore non-traditional data sources to enhance accuracy, ensuring seamless integration into Unnayan's lending processes

Minimized Client Input:
Work on innovative solutions to minimize client input while maximizing data accuracy
Develop methods to extract necessary information with minimal client interaction, ensuring a frictionless and user-friendly experience

Key responsibilities:

1. Explore and integrate non-traditional data sources to enhance lending algorithms
2. Innovate solutions to minimize client input while maintaining data accuracy
3. Collaborate with the technology team to integrate developed algorithms into Unnayan's systems

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Experience with object detection algorithms, particularly YOLO
Knowledge of image processing techniques and number plate recognition
