Job Description

Qualifications M.A. in Psychology/Sociology with at least 2 years working as school counsellor/ University Guidance Counsellor OR M.A./M.Ed in Education with at least 3 years experience working as English teacher Certification in Guidance Counselling is desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION - UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR

Deliver group presentations and conduct individual interviews to provide guidance and support.

Facilitate individual and group counselling sessions to assist students with academic and career planning.

Organize a series of family interview sessions starting from Grade 9 to foster collaborative decision-making.

Organize and schedule orientation programs and internships for students.

Plan and organize University Fairs on Campus

Create and update the school profile annually to reflect current achievements and offerings.

Maintain a comprehensive database of student destinations, offers, and acceptances.

Develop and regularly update an alumni database to track graduates' progress.

Provide an annual report detailing student destinations and outcomes.

Represent the school at relevant career and university conferences.

Ensure that career and university resources are up-to-date and explore additional tools to enhance these offerings.

Manage and operate the Career Guidance Technology platform, engaging with students, staff, and parents effectively.

Participate in relevant workshops and training sessions to stay informed of best practices.

Actively contribute to the BHIS school community with enthusiasm and initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
