1. Basic knowledge about machine concept and application.
2. Read the drawing and understand the dimensions, tolerance and required features of the job. Identify key process such as hole, slot, pocket, radius, degree etc.
3. Tool selection and tool set up like, tool length, tool diameter etc.
4. Job set up on the machine.
5. Ability to use measuring instrument and measuring method.
6. Ability to understand and fill up operations documents like, production report, job cards, check sheets.
