Responsibilities



Build immersive and realistic simulations using Unreal Engine 5.3+ (preferably 5.5), utilizing Nanite, Lumen, and the Chaos physics system. Integrate and collaborate through NVIDIA Omniverse, leveraging USD-based asset pipelines and real-time scene synchronization. Set up and optimize VR streaming pipelines using CloudXR, SteamVR, or ALVR for seamless headset experiences over cloud infrastructure. Optimize and prepare 3D environments for remote rendering, ensuring smooth performance across various VR headsets (Meta Quest 3, Pico 4 Enterprise, Lenovo VRX). Implement custom physics simulations (e.g., radiation, eddy currents, ultrasonic waves, capillary action) within Unreal Engine. Deploy simulations on high-performance GPU servers (RTX 6000 Ada / 4090) via AWS, Azure, or dedicated infrastructure. Maintain low latency (<30ms) and bandwidth efficiency (25-50 Mbps per user) for real-time VR experiences. Collaborate with 3D artists and developers using version control (Git, Perforce) and project management tools (Trello, Jira, Omniverse Nucleus). (Optional) Contribute to web dashboards for trainers or admin management using React and Node.js.

Requirements



Proven experience in Unreal Engine 5 development (Blueprints and C++). Strong understanding of real-time rendering, lighting systems (Lumen), and Nanite optimization techniques. Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse and USD-based collaborative workflows. Experience with VR streaming and cloud deployment (CloudXR, SteamVR, ALVR). Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services, particularly GPU-based instances. Experience working with VR hardware (Meta, Pico, Lenovo) in both Wi-Fi and tethered configurations. Understanding of 3D asset pipelines and tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Quixel Mixer. Ability to simulate real-world physical behaviors in Unreal Engine for industrial use cases.

Preferred Qualifications



Scripting with Python for Omniverse automation or tool development. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) standards such as ISO or ASNT. Experience with hand tracking, haptics, and gesture-based interaction. Familiarity with QA testing across multiple headset types. Exposure to web technologies like React and Node.js.
