A. Job Purpose: Responsible for all plant related activity.
B. Main Duties, Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for production- planning, trouble shooting, timely availability of RM, PM to achieve production target, safety & environment, prepare MIS report, documentation of plant & ISO related activities.
C. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly production plan base on marketing monthly projections. Compare the actual performance against plan and reason out the deviations and take corrective actions at plant level.
2. Review of supervisor log book (Production & Maintenance) and ensure that it is complete in all respect.
3. Review of all target at unit level and ensure that it is complied in all respect.
4. Review of batch sheet from the point of view of batch time % yield and quality.
5. Preparation of MIS report & send to Location Head.
6. Maintain minimum stocks of Raw material & Intermediates ETC.
7. Maintain good housekeeping in plants, storage area etc. through general shift supervisor
8. Follow with purchase department for timely receipts of inputs Raw material, packing Material etc.
9. Follow up with maintenance for ensuring spare assemblies like sparklers, PP pumps, gear box etc. are in ready to use conditions. Decided projects are completed in time.
10. Prepare operating manpower schedule so that all shifts have adequate personnel regularly.
11. Maintain ISO records as per requirements in production dept.
12. Maintain environment and safety in the unit.
13. Co-ordination with HO/ other units for any requirements.
14. Ensure new manpower in production is trained properly in their respective jobs.
15. Liasoning with various authorities visiting plant etc.
16. Any other duties assign by Higher Authority as per Requirement.
