About the Team



Unified Co llaboration Service team is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the collaboration and communication platforms that connect Resmed's global workforce. We manage the technologies that enable seamless communication, from Microsoft Teams and Exchange to telephony systems and compliance tools. We focus on delivering reliable, integrated communication experiences while ensuring data governance and regulatory compliance. By partnering with business units, security, and infrastructure teams, we enable effective collaboration across time zones and empower teams to work efficiently in hybrid environments.


About the Role



As a

Unified

Collaboration Engineer , you'll independently manage and optimize Resmed's collaboration ecosystem--Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online / Hybrid , Teams Telephony, Microsoft Purview. You'll resolve complex technical issues, lead implementation projects, and contribute to strategic improvements of our communication and employee experience platforms. This specialist role requires you to apply company policies and best practices to solve moderate to complex problems with minimal supervision. You'll collaborate across teams, contribute to technical analysis and reporting, and help shape the evolution of our unified communications and digital workplace strategy.



Responsibilities



Advanced Platform Administration



Independently manage Microsoft Teams environments including governance, policies, and advanced configurations Design and implement Exchange Online solutions for complex mail routing and compliance requirements with Hybrid architecture Configure and optimize Teams Telephony including auto attendants, call queues, and voice routing policies Maintain Microsoft Purview compliance solutions including retention policies Understanding on Cisco Telephony system and read y to be sunse t (retired)

Compliance & Governance Management



Support data retention policies implementation across communication platforms Manage eDiscovery processes and support legal/compliance requests Configure and maintain information protection policies Conduct compliance audits and generate regulatory reports

Complex Problem Resolution



Resolve escalated issues across UC and Exchange platforms requiring in-depth analysis Perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement permanent fixes Coordinate with Microsoft support for premier-level issues Lead incident response for UC-related outages and service degradations

Stakeholder Collaboration



Partner with business units to understand communication requirements Present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with security team on UC security posture Work with network team to ensure voice quality and reliability

Qualifications



Required



Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

5+ years

of experience in

Microsoft 365 administration or Unified Communications

Strong expertise in

Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online

Solid understanding of

Hybrid Active Directory and Exchange environments

Proficiency in

PowerShell scripting and automation

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Preferred



Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and Direct Routing Knowledge of Microsoft Purview Compliance Center (SC-400 / SC-401) Experience with Hybrid Exchange architectures Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-700, MS-203) Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies Experience in regulated industries or healthcare

Technical & Functional Competencies



Advanced Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting PowerShell automation and scripting Voice and telephony systems (Teams, Cisco, NICE inContact) Compliance, data governance, and eDiscovery Project execution, technical documentation, and solution design
