Accurately transcribe dictated ultrasound reports from radiologists or sonographers using audio dictation systems.
Ensure correct formatting, grammar, and medical terminology in all typed documents.
Prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines and departmental turnaround times.
Liaise with radiologists, sonographers, and administrative staff to clarify unclear dictations or report details.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with GDPR and hospital policies.
Upload and save completed reports into patient record systems or PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Assist in general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, printing, and managing incoming/outgoing correspondence.
Monitor and track report completion status to ensure no delays in patient care.
Participate in audits, quality control, and team meetings as required.
