Job Responsibilities:
Calculate accurate wages, including any bonuses, salary increases or overtime.
Calculate any tax or national insurance and pensions contributions.
Calculate statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity and sick leave.
Should be able setup new company, process starters and leavers Ensuring timely RTI and Pension submissions Operating knowledge of Auto enrolment (AE) and Pension upload Handle and respond to discrepancies and queries relating to payroll. Liaising with HMRC and clients
Key Skills:
Knowledge of UK payroll, taxes and compliances.
Computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel with experience using spreadsheets and databases.
Knowledge of Software - Xero, Brightpay, payrollmanager, moneysoft, FreeAgent and other payroll software Pension providers - Nest, Aviva, Peoplespension, smartpension, Salvarsmastertrust, nowpension, Truepotential Understanding of ongoing legislative changes which affect payroll.
