Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounting & Corporate Tax Specialist with strong exposure to UK and Ireland taxation. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in corporate tax submissions, compliance, and accounting for clients in the UK and/or Irish markets. Candidates with Ireland-only experience are also welcome, provided they meet the minimum experience requirements.

Job Responsibilities :
Prepare and file corporate tax returns for UK and Ireland entities in compliance with HMRC[ Revenue & Customs] and Irish Revenue guidelines.
Manage end-to-end tax computations, statutory filings, and financial statements.
Review client accounts, trial balances, and ledgers for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure all tax submissions are completed within statutory deadlines.
Provide tax advisory support to clients based on UK/Ireland tax rules and updates.
Handle VAT, payroll, and other indirect tax requirements as applicable.
Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax authorities on queries and compliance matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax legislation, accounting standards, and best practices.
Ensure proper documentation, records management, and process integrity.
Support internal teams on tax planning, accounting queries, and reconciliations.
Job Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and corporate tax within the UK and Irish market.
Strong working knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and Irish Corporate Tax regulations.
Qualified or Part-qualified accountants preferred (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with accounting software and tax platforms used in the UK/Ireland markets.
Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills and ability to handle clients independently.
Ability to work remotely with strong time-management and self-discipline.
Exposure to both UK and Ireland tax markets (highly preferred).
Experience working with international clients or outsourced accounting firms.
Knowledge of IFRS or UK/Irish GAAP standards.
