Key ResponsibilitiesUK Payroll
Process end-to-end UK payroll including starters, leavers, and monthly payroll runs
Manage PAYE, National Insurance, Pension, and statutory deductions
Handle P45, P60, P11D, and other payroll reports
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and submission of RTI
Maintain payroll records and resolve employee payroll queries
UK Accounting
Maintain books of accounts for UK clients
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare bank reconciliations and month-end closing
Assist in preparation of management accounts and financial reports
Ensure VAT calculations and timely filings
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
1 year of proven experience
in
UK accounting & payroll
Strong understanding of UK payroll laws, HMRC compliance, and statutory requirements
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with payroll and accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, BrightPay, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good communication and time management skills
Preferred
Experience working with UK-based clients
Familiarity with VAT returns and compliance
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
