UI/UX Designer (UP-UX-01)

ABOUT BAYESBYTES x UPGRADIENT

Design the BayesBytes web experience: clean, modern, performant. You'll craft flows and components the dev team can implement rapidly.

ROLE SUMMARY

Own research, wireframes, prototypes, and design system tokens. Ensure accessible, consistent UI that maps to real user goals and business metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create user flows, low/high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes in Figma. Maintain a component library and tokens for consistent handoff to dev. Run lightweight research: heuristic reviews, quick user tests, analytics-informed tweaks. Deliver redlines/specs; partner with dev to ship pixel-close UI. Contribute copy guidelines and micro-interactions; ensure WCAG 2.1 AA basics. Document patterns and rationale in Confluence.
REQUIRED SKILLS & TOOLS

Strong Figma skills (auto-layout, variants, prototyping). Web fundamentals, responsive design, accessibility. System thinking: design tokens, scale, and reuse. Clear English for specs and async collaboration.
NICE-TO-HAVE

Basic HTML/CSS; Tailwind familiarity. Analytics-informed design (GA4, Hotjar). Iconography/motion design sense.

Reports to:

Product/CTO.

Works daily with:

Full Stack Developer.

Compensation:

?400000 per Anum.

Location:

Hyderabad; remote/hybrid.

Schedule:

Core India hours; occasional evening sync for handoffs.
KPIs (FIRST 90 DAYS)

Ship a usable MVP design system (colors, type scale, 20+ components). Reduce dev rework by ?30% via precise specs and tokens. Complete 2 quick usability validations; resolve top issues.
