Hipster is hiring a full-time

UI/UX Designer

to design meaningful digital products that solve real user problems. This role is for a designer who thinks beyond surface-level visuals and applies

design thinking, user research, and system-based design

to create effective, scalable solutions.
You will work end-to-end across web and mobile products, collaborating closely with

clients, product managers, developers, and fellow designers

. Prior experience working in an

agency or multi-client environment is strongly required

, as this role involves managing varied projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with

clients, product managers, developers, and end-users

to gather, analyze, and evaluate user and business requirements. Translate requirements into: Information architecture User journeys and task flows Wireframes and interaction models High-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes Design

responsive web and mobile interfaces

used across multiple industries, regions, and platforms. Own and design reusable UI components including: Navigation systems Forms and data entry patterns Dashboards and data-heavy interfaces Interaction states and micro-interactions Conduct and synthesize

user research

, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate and improve design decisions. Define, document, and maintain

design systems

, including: Component libraries Typography, color, spacing, and layout rules Accessibility and consistency standards Ensure designs meet

accessibility and usability best practices

. Work closely with developers during handoff, QA, and implementation to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Present, explain, and defend design decisions clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders. Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a

fast-paced, agency-style environment

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of professional UI/UX design experience

.

Proven experience working in an agency or multi-client setting

(required). A strong portfolio showcasing

end-to-end UX/UI work

, including: Problem definition Research and process Design rationale Final outcomes and impact High proficiency in

Figma

(components, auto-layout, design systems, and prototyping). Working experience with

Adobe Creative Cloud tools

Do I need to code?

No. We have a dedicated development team. Basic frontend knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.

Is this a UI/UX role or a graphic design role?

This is primarily a

UI/UX role

(approximately 95% interface and interaction design). Occasional ad-hoc visual or asset-based work may be required.

Will I be the only designer?

No. You will be part of a design team. Independent execution is expected; collaboration is standard.
