About the Role

We are looking for a

UI/UX Design Mentor

to guide and inspire learners who are passionate about building careers in design. The mentor will help students understand real-world design processes, provide project feedback, conduct live sessions, and share insights from industry experience.

Key Responsibilities;

Conduct

live interactive sessions

and workshops on UI/UX Design principles, tools, and best practices. Guide learners through

hands-on projects

, ensuring practical understanding of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Review and provide

constructive feedback

on student assignments and design portfolios. Help students learn tools like

Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

effectively. Share

industry insights

and best practices for design thinking, usability, and product design. Support students in preparing

interview portfolios

and case studies. Collaborate with the academic/content team to

enhance course structure

and materials.

Required Skills & Experience

;

Proven experience (3+ years) as a

UI/UX Designer

or

Product Designer

. Strong understanding of

Design Thinking

,

User-Centered Design

, and

Information Architecture

. Proficiency in

Figma

,

Adobe XD

,

Miro

, and other prototyping tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Passion for

teaching, mentoring

, and helping others grow in the field of design. Prior mentoring, training, or content creation experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications;

Experience working on

web and mobile app design projects

. Understanding of

modern design systems

, accessibility, and usability principles. Knowledge of

UI trends, color theory, typography

, and

interaction design

.
