This is a remote position.
We're looking for creative UI/UX Design Interns who can transform ideas into intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences that redefine how people book and manage travel.
Role Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you'll work closely with our product managers, developers, and marketing teams to design interfaces that deliver smooth and visually appealing user experiences across MyTravaly's web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and translate insights into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Design intuitive and consistent user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers to ensure design accuracy and usability.
Create user flows, storyboards, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Maintain and contribute to MyTravaly's design system and visual identity.
Participate in usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and a cohesive brand experience.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and visual hierarchy.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Basic understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
Attention to detail and a good sense of color, typography, and layout.
Ability to present ideas clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics (for better collaboration with developers).
Experience in user testing, journey mapping, or design systems.
Portfolio showcasing design projects or creative problem-solving work.
