We are looking for a talented and creative Freelance UI/UX Designer to join us on a project basis. The ideal candidate is a design enthusiast with a strong command of Figma and a proven track record in designing beautiful and functional mobile and web applications.
You will be responsible for the entire design cycle--from understanding user needs and creating wireframes to designing pixel-perfect interfaces and collaborating with developers for a flawless implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
Conduct user research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Design high-fidelity, pixel-perfect user interfaces for mobile and web applications using
Figma
.
Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with modern UI/UX best practices.
Prepare and hand off detailed design specifications to the development team.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma is non-negotiable.
Demonstrable experience in
mobile and web app design
.
A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Ability to create wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and prototypes.
Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and hierarchy.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
Self-motivated, able to manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a freelance capacity.
Good to Have
Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to ensure design feasibility.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions.
