JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Website UI Designer who can combine strong UI/UX expertise with project ownership and team leadership. This role involves driving website design projects end-to-end, ensuring smooth coordination with developers, leading branding assignments, and optimizing websites for conversion and performance. You'll be working at the intersection of design, development, and client strategy, with direct responsibility for quality and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WEBSITE DESIGN & EXECUTION:

Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for websites (informational & e-commerce/Shopify). Build wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and design systems in Figma. Ensure responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-aware design delivery. Work closely with developers to translate designs into pixel-perfect execution. Conduct quality control (QC) checks before and after development. #####

BRANDING & CREATIVE PROJECTS:

Take ownership of branding projects (naming, logo design, visual identity, collaterals). Collaborate with clients on brand positioning and translate strategy into design. Maintain consistency of brand identity across digital and offline touchpoints. #####

CONVERSION OPTIMIZATION & MAINTENANCE:

Conduct UX/CRO audits for existing websites. Suggest and implement design or flow improvements to improve conversions and engagement. Work with SEO and marketing teams to balance aesthetics with performance. #####

LEADERSHIP & CLIENT COLLABORATION:

Lead and mentor 2-3 designers, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design excellence. Present and communicate design/branding decisions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders. Act as the bridge between design, development, and client requirements. #####

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

3-5 years of professional design experience, including website-focused UI/UX. Strong portfolio with website and branding case studies. Advanced expertise in Figma (components, prototyping, design systems). Ability to collaborate with developers and oversee front-end execution (Shopify/Webflow preferred). Experience leading or mentoring junior designers. Knowledge of branding fundamentals: naming, logo design, brand identity systems. Understanding of CRO and website performance-oriented design. Ability to leverage AI tools for design research, wireframing, content adaptation, and creative exploration. Strong communication skills and client-facing experience. #####

NICE-TO-HAVE:

Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS (for smoother developer coordination). Experience in usability testing, analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, Clarity). * Motion/micro-interaction design for web UI.
