Your Opportunity:

Are you a highly motivated aspiring UI/UX Designer eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment? Edmento is looking for a talented UI/UX Design Intern to contribute to our core educational platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects, learn from experienced designers and product leaders, and make a tangible impact on the user experience of learning.

The Role:

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with our experienced design and development teams to assist in creating intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for our educational products. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience across the entire design thinking process, from user research to prototyping and visual design.

Key Responsibilities (Learning & Contribution):

Assist in conducting user research, including usability testing and competitive analysis, to understand user needs and pain points. Support the creation of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to conceptualize design solutions. Contribute to designing high-fidelity UI mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD. Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and maintain design consistency across the platform. Participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and agile development cycles. Help organize and maintain design systems and asset libraries. Document design specifications and guidelines. Learn about integrating AI/ML concepts into user interfaces for enhanced educational experiences.

Essential Skills:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator. A portfolio showcasing academic projects, personal projects, or any relevant design work (even if it's conceptual). Strong problem-solving skills and a keen desire to learn and adapt to new technologies. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
