Job Title: UI Automation with DB Testing

Position: Senior test engineer

Experience: 3-9 Years

Category: Quality assurance/Software Testing.

Shift: 1-10 pm/UK Shift

Main location: Chennai/Bangalore.

Employment Type: Full Time

Your future duties and responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java, Selenium, and BBD Cucumber, DB Testing experience.

Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders.

Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).

Perform end-to-end testing of web applications and DB Testing, ensuring high-quality releases.

Troubleshoot issues with test scripts and the applications being tested.

Perform performance testing for API services using Rest Assured and other performance testing tools.

Document test results, log defects, and follow through on issue resolution with development teams.

Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices.

Work closely with developers to design, develop, and execute the automated tests in parallel with development work.

Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes and frameworks.

Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must have skill

Minimum 3 year of hands-on UI Automation BBD Cucumber, Java, Selenium Hands-on DB Testing experience Hands-on SQL , PL/SQL experience in data validation & verification. Familiarity with Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills


Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.



Nice to have :
