Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

UG NX CAD Designer

with an academic background in

Engineering Design

and hands-on experience in

Product Tool Design

, such as injection molds, die casting, jigs & fixtures, and press tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of UG NX for 3D modeling, drafting, and tool-specific design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using UG NX (Unigraphics). Develop concepts for new tooling and improve existing tool designs. Apply principles of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly), GD&T, and tolerance analysis in designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with UG NX (Unigraphics). Strong knowledge of product tool design - injection molds, jigs & fixtures, press tools, etc. Proficiency in engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Understanding of DFM/DFA principles. Familiarity with Teamcenter or other PLM tools. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to other CAD tools like UG NX software Basic understanding of FEA (Finite Element Analysis). Knowledge of machining processes and industrial materials.
