Job Description

Mandatory Skillset:

Minimum 5 years in software testing, with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Must have Banking US Domain Experience

Must have atleast 3 years of experience in Testing Web Applications (Java/.NET)

Must have atleast 1 years of experience in Testing of COBOL / Mainframe applications

Proficient in using tools such as Rally, Jira, ALM, or equivalent platforms for test planning, execution, and defect tracking


Basic proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data preparation


Very good verbal and written communication skills; proactive in raising issues, sharing observations, and seeking clarifications during meetings


Quick learner with the ability to understand new applications, systems, and business process flows efficiently


Basic understanding of the credit card domain or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to domain-specific knowledge


Capable of supporting multiple applications and comprehending end-to-end business and technical workflows


Strong focus on accuracy in test execution and documentation; ability to identify and articulate potential issues effectively


Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, actively participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives


Skilled in preparing and maintaining triage documentation and knowledge base articles for both new and existing applications


Proven ability to work closely with clients, business analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the design of quality solutions

Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field


ISTQB or equivalent testing certification


Prior experience in Testing of large banking programs/projects


Other Job Requirements:



Willingness to work from the Global Village campus in Bangalore


Flexibility to work in US shift hours, specifically:


2:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST (equivalent to 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM EST)


IST shift timings will be adjusted in accordance with Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes


Hybrid work model: Required to work in office 3 days per week


* Must be ready to work full-time from the office during the initial transition phase (approximately 2 months)
